Bohan Zhang is a member of technical staff at OpenAI, working on data infrastructure. His interests include large-scale data systems, machine learning, and their intersection.
He co-founded OtterTune with Andy Pavlo and Dana Van Aken, turning CMU research into an automated database tuning service. He holds a computer science degree from Peking University and a master’s in computational data science from Carnegie Mellon University.
